WELCOME TO TONY HOROWITZ MUSIC

tony_solo_1_2As one of this country’s most accomplished trumpet players, TONY HOROWITZ has spent his career as a performing musician, backing a who’s-who of music royalty. From Ray Charles to Kenny Rodgers to Jimmy Wakely to the iconic, sentimental trumpet solos on the TV series “Cheers”, Tony is truly a musician’s musician.

Beginning his professional career at the age of eleven, Tony had the good fortune to study with the giants of the trumpet: Ziggy Elman, Rafael Mendez & Claude Gordon. This solid foundation served Tony well in becoming a well rounded and accomplished, international musician.

Besides his skill as a trumpeter, Tony is also an in-demand composer, musical director & brass consultant. Supported by his extensive musical knowledge and experience, Tony is a much sought after lecturer and clinician at schools, universities and at jazz festivals.

As you tour Tony’s web site you will find that there is something for everybody. There is a historical account in Tony’s own words, photos and videos covering his career, a page to purchase Tony’s recordings and publications and a description of the musical services that are offered.

Thank you for your visit and please enjoy the World of Tony Horowitz.
